VOLLEYBALL BEACH
Perfect for simultaneously having fun and exercising, the Volleyball Beach is filled with white sand and sits near a Hammock Park and across from the Gift Shop.
PERGOLA
Across from the Pavilion, the 20 x 20 foot Pergola is composed of a brick-paved foundation, white wooden columns, and white wooden overhead beams. Based on a form originating in Egypt and widely used in Italy and other European countries during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the Pergola provides the perfect space for someone hosting an outdoor event, looking to provide guests with an elegant or classy experience. Guests can use the Pergola as the main event facility if serving a small population of guests or as a stage. If used as a stage, the Pergola’s surrounding area is paved to provide comfortable seating for guests.
PAVILION & DECK
The Pavilion is 2,800 square feet and features a full kitchen with two ovens, a stove, and three restrooms with baby changing stations. Enclosed with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and glass sliding doors, the Pavilion also features surround sound, four 72-inch televisions and a mounted computer, and Wi-Fi for presentations. Surrounding the Pavilion lies a beautiful beachfront with palm trees, white sand, beach chairs and umbrellas, and fragrant flowers blossoming year-round. Extending from the Pavilion, the open deck sits right above the lake and stretches into the boating dock. The open deck gives the intimate feeling of the Pavilion, but with the fragrance and vision of the great outdoors.
LAKE
The Grandma Home House Retreat’s 3-acre Lake is always action-packed, whether it’s lively due to the fish (Bluegill and Bass) swimming about or people on pedal boats and kayaks. The Lake is home to two types of fish, turtles, frogs, tadpoles and other aquatic creatures, and is often visited by animals such as pelicans and cranes. Along with boating, catch-and-release fishing is also allowed during certain events. The Grandma Home House Retreat provides its guests with life jackets and lifeguards for every event utilizing the Lake.
HAMMOCK PARKS
The Grandma Home House Retreat features two Hammock Parks. One is located near the lake in a grassy area directly exposed to sun, which makes it perfect for tanning or cloud watching. The other Hammock Park is located in a shady, straw-padded area across from the Sports Court and features picnic tables, providing the perfect area for lazy lounging and long chats.
SPORTS COURT
The NCAA regulation-sized, multi-purpose Sports Court offers the perfect arena for a multitude of games such as volleyball, badminton, tennis, roller skating, roller hockey, dodgeball,
four square and much more. The Sports Court is 94 x 52 feet and boasts four custom-designed basketball goals with fiberglass backboards ― each fully cushioned with extra padding. With circumferential gating, there’s no worry that the ball or the fun will escape. Equipped with night lighting and soft tile flooring, the Sports Court can also function as an event venue for afternoon tea parties, awards ceremonies, luaus, weddings, and much more.
AUNTIE MARY’S KITCHEN
The Grandma Home House Retreat’s Outdoor Kitchen was dubbed Auntie Mary’s Kitchen in May 2015. Named after the owner’s eldest sister, Auntie Mary’s Kitchen is built entirely of stone. It is free of windows to provide the chef(s) at work fresh air, and is equipped with a refrigerator, ceiling fans, and two small serving counters and three long serving counters along the outside for guests.

Surrounded by fragrant flowers in large colorful flower pots on its brick-paved patio, the Gift Shop offers various Grandma Home House Retreat products in its 700-square-foot space.
